Cakeinacup!!

Yeah, I think that's what we're calling it...  lol!  Okay, so a few weeks ago, in one of my Facebook groups, this recipe popped up:

You SOOOOOO need to check this out!  It's YUMMEH!!!

Okay, so I live in a Publix state.  and I loooooooove my Publix cakes, cuz, you know, they do stuff like this:

Tinkerbell!!!!!!!!!

And in the deli section (where they also make YUMMY subs!!!) you can buy single cake slices.

So, a few nights ago, I made a cakeinacup! Only, I didn't have Splenda or vanilla.  So, I am happy to report, regular sugar and whisky make a perfect substitute!!

But here's the really crazy part--cakeinacup was actually better than the Publix slice!!!

And then I made it for my friend Amy.  She agrees, this mess is tasty!  It was funny, she kept trying to figure out why it works.  I have no clue...  But it's good!

I will say, Flavored Coffee mate?  Yeah, not so much.   Messed up the texture...

So, for those times when you need a bit of warm gooey cake to just top off your evening, you can make, Cakeinacup! :)

(oh, and she has a lemon version here. Can't wait to try this one!)

Enjoy!

Just a quick note to say hey!

Hiya folks!

So yeah, I'm still working on my time management.  (been working on that for years...)  But, just wanted to pop in and say I'VE GOT SOME PLANS FOR YOU!!!!  :)

I do.  Have plans.  And they're gonna be NIFTY!

I closed my Etsy shop not too long ago, and so I'm working on my Artfire shop and getting it all beefed up (have some cute new things to post, and more things in my head!)

I just finished up the Samples I'm making for the March Sampler Village box (I can't wait for you to see them!  So cute!!!)

I'm hoping to be doing some product reviews soon (we'll see how that goes) and I'm going to continue my series of posts on Beading techniques!

I think it's going to be a big year for me!  :)

In the meantime, here's a pic of the bracelets I made last weekend--2 for my mom's birthday, and the other for a friend's bridesmaids (I'm waiting on supplies, still).  Not the best of pics, but how cute!!! :)

I'd almost forgotten how much fun TOGGLES can be!!!!  :)
 Talk to you all soon!
